Instructions to make Tapioca layered pudding:

  1. Soak tapioca for 2 hours in plain water.
  2. After that drain the excess water and cooked it 1 cup milk and 1/2 cup water till it thicken. In the mean while add 1 pinch salt and 3 tbsp. Sugar in it.
  3. When the mixture thicken or cooked properly then switch off the gas and let it cool down.
  4. In a different pan boil milk. In the meantime take 2 tbsp. Of custard powder and mix it with 4 tbsp. Of cold milk. When the above milk start to boil add the custard mixture in it and cooked in low flame till thickened.
  5. Switch of the flame and let it cool down.
  6. When both the tapioca and custard mixture cool down place them in fridge.
  7. In the mixture grinder place the marie biscuit and grind it to a powder form.
  8. Add the melted butter in it and properly mix both the ingredients. Keep it aside.
  9. Now it’s time for layering. Fist place the tapioca mixture, then carefully place the biscuit mixture and above it place the custard mixture. Finally garnish it with chopped almonds.
