  1. Make ready 800 gram red carrots
  2. Get 6-8 Almonds
  3. Make ready 15 Raisins
  4. Prepare 150-200 gram sugar
  5. Prepare 3-4 tsp popeye seeds
  6. Make ready 1 cup brown khoya
  7. Make ready 10-15 Cashewnuts
  8. Make ready 2-3 Green cardamom
  9. Prepare 4 tbsp ghee

Instructions to make Sweet hearts:

  1. Peel clean wash and grate the carrots and keep aside.
  2. Now take big deep.thick bottom vessel. heat ghee and add eiTher powdered or broken green cardomoms. than add the grated carrots.
  3. Keep stirring on high flame for few minutes and than on low flame for minimum 15 minutes so that it’s cooked well and turns brown in colour.
  4. Now add the grated / mashed brown khoya and stir again for few minutes on high flame.
  5. Mix well so.that khoyA and carrots blend together nicely. Now add sugar and mix well and stir again for.2-3 minutes. Cook it covered on low glame so that sugar dissolves completely.
  6. Mix well and check than add the popeye seeds, chopped nuts and raisins and mix again. Keep stirring continuosly so.that it doesnt stick to the bottom.of.the vessel.by now it’s nice brown in colour and yummy in taste. Finallys cover it for 2 minutes on lowest flame and than.turn off the gas.
  7. Now spread it in big plate and keep it aside to cool down. After 30 minutes keep it in the refigerator for 15-20 minutes so tht bhi can give it heart shape.
  8. Now take serving plate and place the heart shaped small mould. Fill it with cold gaajar ka halwa. Sprinkle some.popeye seeds. Gaenish with chashew almond and brown raisins. serve with love.
