The ingredients needed to make Mac and Cheese:

  1. Make ready 4 tbsp butter
  2. Take tsp salt
  3. Take 4 tbsp flour
  4. Get 1 1/2 cup milk
  5. Take 1 tsp cracked black pepper
  6. Make ready 3 cup grated colby jack, mozzarella, and cheddar jack cheese
  7. Get 2 1/2 cup freshly grated cheese (colby jack, mozzarella, cheddar jack)
  8. Take 24 oz pasta
  9. Make ready 3/4 cup freshly grated cheese (mozzarella, colby jack, cheddar jack)
  10. Take 1 cup mushrooms
  11. Take 1 cup sweet italian sausage

Steps to make Mac and Cheese:

  1. Boil 24 oz of pasta of your choice (i used penne rigate) and drain and set aside. Make a roux with 4 tablespoons of butter and 4 tablespoons of flour. Slowly add in warm milk and whisk slowly. Add a teaspoon of salt and a teaspoon of cracked black pepper.
  2. Slowly stir in cheese and melt into a creamy sauce
  3. Add pasta and carefully stir everything together. Pour into two seperate baking dishes and sprinkle with remaining cheese. (I sliced some sweet italian sausage and topped one dish with it and sprinkled cheese. I also sliced up some white mushrooms and topped the other dish with it and sprinkled cheese as well)
  4. Toss your mac and cheese (or mushroom & sausage mac) into a 400°F oven for 20 minutes until bubbly golden brown!
