Instructions to make Honey Chilli Potatoes:
- Wash, Peel and cut the potatoes in wedges.
- Heat 2-3 cups of water in a pan and add potato wedges to it with salt.
- Bring it to boil and let it boil for 2-3 minutes.
- Take out from water and add black pepper and corn flour to it and coat all the potatoes with flour.
- Heat oil in a kadhai and deep fry potatoes until crisp and golden in colour.
- Drain on an absorbent paper and Keep aside
- In a large wok, heat oil and saute garlic, ginger, green chilli and 2 spring onions.
- Add onions and capsicum, saute on high flame.
- Next add chilli sauce, tomato ketchup, soy sauce, white vinegar and salt.
- Saute this on high flame for half minute.
- Now mix 1 tbsp corn flour in ¼ cup water without any lumps in a bowl.
- Pour the corn flour mixture gradually in it and stir continuously till it turns translucent.
- Switch off the heat and add 2 tbsp honey and mix well.
- At last add fried potatoes and mix gently.
- Garnish with spring onions and 1 tsp roasted sesame seeds. mix well.
- Honey chilli potatoes are ready to serve hot with fried rice as complete meal or as it as snack.
