- Make ready 1/2 tsp red chilli powder

- Prepare 1/2 tsp garam masala

- Prepare 1-2 green cardamoms
- Take 1 small cinnamon stick

Instructions to make Prawn in creamy yogurt:
- First, marinate the prawns with 1 tsp turmeric and pinch of salt. Keep aside for 10-15 minutes. Now in a nonstick pan, add oil and then shallow fry the prawns, don’t cook for long time else prawns will become hard.
- In the same pan, add bay leaf, cardamom, cinnamon stick, cloves and saute for few seconds. Now add onion paste and saute for 1 minute, add ginger paste, garlic paste, green chilli paste and mix well cook for a minute until raw smells are gone from ginger and garlic. Now add turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder and mix well.
- Now add the beaten curd and 1/4 cup of water and cook for approx 1/2 minute till the gravy is in a correct consistency, now add salt, sugar and mix well. Cook for few seconds until sugar dissolves, now add the fried prawns and cook for another 1-2 minutes, switch off the flame, now add garam masala and mix well.
- Transfer to serving bowl. Searve with steam rice or pulav
