  1. Put rice,water and salt in a pressure cooker. Give 3- 4 whistles to it. Keep aside till the the pressure releases.
  2. Meanwhile prepare tempering. Heat oil in a small pan. Put mustard seeds in it,when the seeds crackle put gram dal whole red chillies,hing and curry leaves. Saute for a second. Remove from heat. Keep aside.
  3. Open the lid of cooker. Put milk in it and mash properly with hands till it gets creamy.
  4. When rice comes to room temperature add yogurt and the tempering to it.
  5. Garnish with pomegranate pearls. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
