- Prepare 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- Get 1/2 tsp kitchen king masala
- Make ready 1 glass water
- Get 1/2 lemon juice
Instructions to make Kathal Do Pyaza:
- Wash jackfruit pieces. Heat 4-5 tbsp oil in frying pan. Fry jackfruit until golden pink. Take largely chopped onions and tomatoes in a mixer jar. Add all whole spices and ginger garlic and grind to a smooth paste.
- Add Remaining oil in a pan in a pressure cooker along with the fried. Add in cumin seeds and asafoetida. Add turmeric too. Mix well. Add chopped onions and saute until golden brown. Add in ground paste.
- Saute until oil is separated. Add in red chilli powder and coriander powder. Add kitchen king masala and saute for just a minute.
- Add in fried jackfruit and cook for 5 mins on low flame. mix well add in a glass of water and cover the lid. Cook for 2-3 whistles.
- Serve with rice or chapati. Our kathal do Pyaza is ready. Add lemon juice while serving.
