- In a mixer jar put the fresh coconut bits, roasted gram dal, garlic, tamarind salt and water. Grind them well.
- In a tempering pan add oil, when hot add mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves and when it splutters add it the grinded coconut mixture.
- Mix well and serve with idly, dosa, pongal, vada etc…
