- Get 1 cup Basmati Rice
- Prepare 2-3 Slit Green Chillies
- Make ready 1 Bay Leaf

- Wash, soak(15 min) and drain the rice. Heat a pressure cooker and add a tbsp of ghee in it. Add the whole spices and green chillies. Saute for a second or two.
- Add the drained rice and fry for a minute.
- Add water and pressure cook for one whistle.
- Now heat a small pan and add the remaining ghee. Add sliced onions and fry until golden brown. Fry the cashews and raisins too.
