The ingredients needed to make Ghee Dosa:

  1. Make ready 2 cups raw Rice
  2. Make ready 1 cup Black Gram or urad dal
  3. Get 2 tbsp Bengal Gram

  6. Make ready 1/2 cup Ghee

  1. Soak Rice and Dal separately for 5-6 hours. Add Bengal Gram and Fenugreek Seeds to dal while soaking.
  2. Grind them separately into a smooth batter of flowing consistency. Add little water accordingly. Leave it to ferment overnight.
  3. Next day add Salt and give it a light mix and if the batter looks very thick, then add some water.
  4. Heat a heavy iron griddle or a non stick dosa pan. Pour a ladleful of the batter in the centre and spread it in a clockwise motion. Drizzle ghee on the edges of the dosa and a little on top of it. On a medium high heat, cook it until crisp.
  5. Make all in the same way and store the leftover batter in the refrigerator for later use. Serve this ghee dosa with coconut tamarind chutney and aaloo masala sabzi.
