The ingredients needed to make Roast potatoes:
- Take Potatoes
- Take Olive oil
- Take Rosemary (optional)
Instructions to make Roast potatoes:
- Peel and wash the potatoes. Chop in to rough cubes about 3-4cm. Add to a pan of water and bring to the boil. Preheat the oven to 200°C
- Boil for 5 minutes then drain the potatoes.
- Return the potatoes to the pan, replace the lid and shake to soften the edges of the potatoes.
- Heat a tablespoon or 2 of oil in a large pan or wok and cover the potatoes well. You could season at this stage.
- Transfer potatoes to an oven dish and put them in the oven. I added a bit of rosemary at this stage.
- The potatoes are ready once they start to turn a golden brown colour (about 30 mins). Good to eat immediately although they might be a bit hot in the middle so take care!
