- In a mixing bowl, add maida, salt, oil, baking soda, baking powder, powdered sugar and mix well. Now add curd and mix well. Now gradually add hot water and prepare a soft dough. Now keep this dough for resting for atleast 2 hours. After 2 hours, tuckle the dough using hand and then divide into 10 portions. Using palm make small balls and keep aside
- Now on a surface spread some maida. Take one portion of the maida dough and roll it using roller pin like roti shape. Now sprinkle some kalonji and chopped coriander leaves. Now using roti making roller or by hands press the kalonji and coriander leaves a bit so that they get easily fixed.
- Now flip the naan and the bottom side up. Apply generous amount of water. In the meanwhile heat a steel or iron pan (ensure you shouldn’t use nonstick pan).
- Now stick the naan on the pan (moist side down)
- Press the sides a bit so that naan is secured on the pan perfectly. Keep the flame on medium heat and once bubbles come, turn the pan by covering the flame as sown in the picture.
- Once get the required brown dots on the naan, transfer the naan to serving plate. Spread some generous amount of butter on top of the naan. It goes well with butter chicken/ paneer butter masala / any nonveg or veg side dish.
