- Take quinoa in a strainer and wash in runny water for 2 minutes to remove the slight bitterness of quinoa seeds. I have taken boiled quinoa. - Heat the oil in a kadhai. Add mustard seeds and allow it to splutter. Then add cumin seeds, urad dal and. chana dal, hing powder and saute in low flame till golden.
- Then add onion, curry leaves, chilli. Stir and saute for in low flame,till the onions become translucent. Add grated ginger and hing and mix well. - Then add the finely chopped veggies, salt and sambar masala, mix well and cook till soft.
- Now add cooked quinoa. Saute for 2 minutes in low flame. Bring down from flame and mix lemon juice. - Colorful, fluffy and yummy quinoa upma is ready. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve. - Thanks
