Steps to make Paneer Tikka Masala:

  1. In a bowl, whisk well all the ingredients mentioned under Marination section
  2. Add cubed onions, tomatoes, capsicum and paneer
  3. Marinate and keep it aside for 1 hour
  4. Soak cashews in warm water for 30 minutes. Drain excess water. Grind tomatoes and cashews to form smooth puree
  5. Insert Paneer, veggies to skewers. Grill in greased grill pan. Cook for 2 minutes on each side
  6. Place the cooked paneer and veggies aside
  7. Heat oil in a pan and splutter cumin seeds
  8. Add onions and saute until browned
  9. Add ginger garlic paste and saute until raw aroma disappear
  10. Add green chillies, spice powders, salt and 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala. Mix well
  11. Add ground puree and cook until oil starts leaving the sides
  12. Add water and cream. Mix well. Simmer and cook for a minute
  13. Add Paneer and veggies. Gently Mix well
  14. Add remaining garam masala, kasuri methi, lemon juice and mix. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot
