- Take oil for cooking
- Make ready cherry tomatoes, sliced * I did not use these
- Get Any seasonings of your choice to taste. I didn’t feel like mine needed it but it depends on the chicken broth/ bullion cubes you use. I recommend waiting to the end for extra seasonings
Steps to make Sausage & Peppers Skillet:
- Slice onions, garlic & peppers, making sure to clean out seeds. Add oil to skillet & saute on med to med low
- Now while that cooks, you need to get the pasta started. I salt my water to prevent sticking. Also, slice up the chicken & sausage. Don’t forget to occasionally stir the onion & peppers!!
- Now add the meats to the peppers & enjoy the heavenly aroma! Heat can be raised to med-med/high. U need that chicken cooked thoroughly!
- Once pasta is boiling & almost done, scoop out the water (unless you decide to use broth!) Pour desired amount into a bowl with bullion cubes & mash until dissolved. Add to skillet with meat & peppers.
- Add the heavy cream to skillet & stir to blend well. Then add parsley. This will thicken slightly
- Drain pasta & add to skillet. Gently toss & fold in.
- Once served, you may add the tomatoes but I chose to leave those out. Enjoy!!!
