The ingredients needed to make Dorayaki:

  1. Prepare 2 large eggs
  2. Make ready 75 g sugar
  3. Take 12 g honey
  4. Get 9,5 gr Baking powder
  5. Take 25 ml Water (can be lesser so thicker)
  6. Prepare 100 gr Flour
  7. Make ready 10 gr Potato starch
  8. Get 2 gr Soy sauce
  9. Make ready 2 tbsp Milk

Instructions to make Dorayaki:

  1. Mix egg and sugar in a bowl
  2. Add honey and soy sauce and mix again
  3. Dissolve baking powder in water
  4. Add sifted flour, potato starch and baking powder into egg mixture gradually
  5. Add milk and mix well
  6. Leave the dough for 30minutes or even overnight
  7. Heat frying pan WITHOUT adding dough, wait until pan is HOT so that surface can be browned (use medium-low heat just enough to cover batter)
  8. Pour dough at 10cm above pan surface to make round dorayaki(no oil needed)
  9. Wait until surface bubbles then flip and wait for around 10s
